Museologia del Design

Attività didattiche
La Facoltà di Design e arti propone insegnamenti legati alla museologia, alla museografia, alla storia dell’arte e del design, fra cui Raimonda Riccini, Storia dell’innovazione scientifica e tecnologica; Mario Lupano, Storia dell’allestimento e museografia del design; Judith Clark, Allestimento per la moda; Giulio Alessandri, Museografia e allestimento. Inoltre offre attività progettuali specifiche come laboratori e workshop.

Workshop
- New Basic Design Lab diretto da Giovanni Anceschi, è attivo dal 2006. Attraverso workshop, seminari e mostre si approfondisce la conoscenza di questa forma disciplinare a partire dalle esperienze del Bauhaus e della Scuola di Ulm, per delinearne le prospettive odierne.
- Dal 2011 ha preso avvio, in collaborazione fra il corso di laurea magistrale di Design e il dottorato in Scienze del design, un workshop annuale di seminari e progetti di exhibit museali; si veda il sito della prima edizione Exhibit 2011 Mobile, http://exhibit2011mobile.wordpress.com

Teaching activities
The Faculty of Arts and Design of the University Iuav of Venice offers courses related to museology, museography, art history and design history, including: Science and technology history, led by Raimonda Riccini; Display and design museography, led by Mario Lupano; Fashion and museology, led by Judith Clark; Museography led by Giulio Alessandri. The Faculty also offers workshop activities.

Workshops
- New Basic Design Lab: directed by Giovanni Anceschi, has been active since 2006. Based on the experiences of the Bauhaus and Ulm School, this module aims at deepening the knowledge of basic design – through workshops, seminars and exhibitions – in order to outline new directions.
- Exhibit, workshop and seminars: launched in Winter 2011 within the Master Degree in Industrial Design, in conjunction with the PhD in Design Sciences, this program include workshops and seminars that focus on museum exhibits and multimedia technologies.
